Crazy Graveyard

Post  witchx on Mon Sep 26, 2011 4:24 pm

So, I was at the graveyard last night with two friends. (those that are unfamiliar, amongst my friends, we find that graveyards are the best "chill spots") We were doing what we usually do, in the same spot we usually do it at. Then, there was a clicking noise coming out of the darkness (now that I think of it, maybe symbolizes the legend of the clicking death beetle). Mind you, it was late, about 11pm. The wind was mildly blowing that day and it picked up some; we joked about how its "death" weather and that we wouldn't be surprised if Jason showed up and killed us all. I started to get a weird feeling about all of it, asking them if they thought we should leave and in that split second, the wind was so strong I could barely hear them talking. I got in my car and left and before I even got to the exit, there was no wind. Any ideas, theories?

There are a few possibilities about what might be causing this, the way I see it. I will try to help lay them all out for you the best I can.

One possibility (I'm going to start with the most mundane answer and move to the most spiritual answer) is that because you were doing what I'm pretty sure you were doing, or because of the darkness, or being in a graveyard, or the weather you were just paranoid. This could have led to a general sense of discomfort and worry, explaining the feelings you were experiencing.

Another possibility is that you were in an area where there is less of a "veil" (for lack of better words) or you are closer to a "window", between other dimensions. The combination of you being sensitive to psychic energies, being in a more sensitive area, and your psychic senses being heightened by the ganja could have opened you up to something spiritual in nature that was occurring on another plane or within another dimension.

A third possibility is, being that graveyards generally have this problem, that there was an excess amount of Death Energy (which is very powerful) where you were. This death energy can be experienced in many ways, perhaps by witnessing an apparition (ghost), or by strange changes in the light, weather, or other atmospheric conditions.

Hope you found this helpful!

Now that I have progressed more and am closer to finding my 'spiritual self', I have re-read and comprehended your responses, not only to this but to other things too, and I have a whole new level of understanding Smile For once, I'm not concerning myself asking 'am I doing this right', because I understand that this was coming, I know this is the next step and a great step in getting to my full potential. <3

Its funny how that works. I look back all the time and think "Wow, how much more Ive learned since then..." and sometimes not that much time has passed at all, lol. Its like their genuinely is no limit to how much you can grow spiritually in one life time.

I would be one happy camper if I were able to travel to the plane of ultimate learning/enlightenment (where Buddha was able to go, I can't think of the name) that is my ultimate goal for this lifetime and it would be a hell of a goal to be able to meet.

That's the ultimate goal for all of us; enlightenment. It's pretty much my main goal in life lol
Was it called Shambala? It's the place where all the ascended masters reside.

Yes, I do believe it was Shambhala. I loved ancient history class, I aced the Buddhism and Hinduism Razz Its supposedly the highest place of ascension, and also the place of infinite and ultimate wisdom. I am VERY interested in Buddhism and Hinduism, I'd absolutely love to be able to go back and re-take that ancient history class. While I did exceptionally well when I was in there, I'm much more interested and would benefit more by taking a similar class now. I believe that once you've graduated (with decent attendance, grades, attitude, etc) that you should be able to pick four classes to re-take, for fun or for whatever reason. Of course, it wouldn't be mandatory, but I believe several people would actually enjoy it. One extra semester of ANY class at ANY level if you wish to do so would be phenomenal.

Actually I think you two are talking about Nirvana, since you are talking about Buddhism. In Buddhism, when you complete "Samsara" (the cycle of birth, death, and rebirth) you travel to "Nirvana", the ultimate state of bliss and enlightenment.

The definition I found for Nirvana is indeed the final goal for Buddhists. I believe one has to actually FIND Shambhala to even consider experiencing Nirvana. Shambhala is the actual place of "sacred space" within ourselves. However, some say ithas been thought to be a real, physical place located between the Gobi desert and the Himalayas. Some definitions of Shambhala link it to the heart chakra and the symbol of the mind. Nirvana is the ultimate place of perfect happiness, and Shambhala is somewhat of a stepping stone to getting there. So, Tony, you're right. Nirvana IS the ultimate goal.

However, I may add that a person CAN be considered an "all-enlightened being" if he/she is actually able to reach Nirvana OR Shambhala, since they are within each other and are part of the same process. Either term is more or less acceptable, but Nirvana would be the most correct. There isn't actually much separating the two in definition.
